The challenge was to tie a series of five basins together that encompassed 2-3 billion yards constructed by other contractors. Serco was brought in to tie all the bases together with reinforced concrete boxes so that they’d work as one unit and then tie them into the channel that drains into Brays Bayou. The project
Serco was asked to help another contractor who was struggling with a storm detention basin and box crossings. Serco moved over 500,000 yards of material and disposed it offsite legally and in a safe manner. Serco also constructed dual 12 X 12 boxes across Richey road. We finished on time and under budget.
